Synhcronised breakes at Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker
Friday, November 02, 2009
Players playing many poker tournaments at Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker will
now benefit from the new feature on the Cereus Poker Network, with
synchronised breaks.
The new feature has been introduced to multi-table tournaments and when
Cereus made the software update they also fixed the way the Raise button
works.
Players on the Cereus Poker Network, playing multi table tournaments will
now get a five minutes breake at the 55th every hour, which means that
players can step away from profitable games without missing any hands.
With the new functionallity, a tournament which begins at half past eleven
will have a five minutes breake at 55 minutes past eleven. The new feature
also means that players who play multi table tournaments can now better
select events they want to enter by first checking the tournament lobby to
see if these have synchronised breakes enabled.
Before any breake start all hands needs to be completed and synchronised
breaks are not enabled in tournaments that are still open for late
registration or those that are still within the first blind level. Also,
there will be no synchronized breaks in turbo and ultra turbo tournaments
within the first two blind levels or during multi table sit-and-go games.
In regards to the new software update featuring the raise button, this
brings Cereus Poker Network into line with the industry standard of
allowing players to raise to a certain amount without having to subtract
their initial bet already on the table. This feature eliminates the need
for players to do mental sums on the spot and means that raising a bet is
now a two-step process instead of three.
